The mini is expected to be 7.85 inches diagonally; inside, it's rumored to sport a dual-core 32nm A5 processor. It isn't expected to have retina display, instead having the same display as older iPads. It is also said to be WiFi-only, lacking 3G or 4G. On a good note, it will have a high quality front-facing camera, possibly 720p HD.
Apple should have products covering all of the tech bases, and an affordable tablet was something Apple was missing. Watching a movie or reading a textbook on a iPhone or iTouch leaves something to be desired, but paying $400 for the old iPad 2 means paying twice as much for something that is only slightly better than the competitor's products in ways that the layman may not even notice. (Apart from the bigger size, of course.)
Wow, this TV is great...especially for the price. My first recommendation when you get this TV: go into the picture settings (e.g. brightness, contrast, sharpness, color, etc.) and adjust them manually. In my opinion, the \"pre-programmed\" picture settings do not do the TV justice. The only reason that I gave this 4-stars is that I did notice that we lost about 2-3 pixels after a few months - however, on a TV this large, you literally have to have your face directly in front of the screen to notice the missing pixels - and you have to know exactly where to look. (Personally, I do not consider the missing pixels a big deal.) I've owned this TV now for about 4 months - and overall, I am extremely pleased and would recommend it for anybody who wants a low-cost option for a nice 75 inch TV!
looks great. Netflix 4K is awesome. Surround sound optical output works great. Huge TV for lowest possible price. Doesn't have HDR but I can live with that. 60 mhz refresh rate is fine, too. Content is the limiting factor, so no reason to get a fancier TV. I don't know of any content at greater than 60 mhz. And 4K content is hard to find. HDR content is even harder to find. Verizon and Optimum TV are only 1080i or 720p. 153554b96e
