Craig- I know you have said you are using a legitimate version of Mastercam. Are you using X6 or the Powerbuilder version? I know with the Powerbuilder versions there is a setup.exe file that you have to install. I also think you have to change your nethasp.ini file to point to the X6 install. I haven't tried this yet, but when I get home I will work on it. It looks like you might have a good method of installation. I was thinking about trying to update the old version of X6 using the old installation and then copying the new version over the top of that.

I only have a 32-bit system. I looked at the files in the X6 folder and there is a setup.exe file. I can find nothing in the nethasp.ini file. I'm using the Powerbuilder version of X6. I don't think I need to change the nethasp.ini file. I should be able to point to the installation folder. That's my plan, anyway.

PS: I tried the above with my X6. The only difference is that I have installed X6 and not the SDK. This was because when I installed X6 I realized it was the only way to run the editor. It was free and it had no catch.

I have seen an installer for the X6 SDK, but its just a 7z file. I did try to extract it, but it does not have a readme.txt file to explain what its all about. And when I go to the X6 SDK page, it tells me that its only a developer tool. I am looking for a tutorial that can help me to do this. But I will try to post my problem to see if anyone can help.

What is the editor you are using to post to? Have you tried using notepad and see if you can post code? Have you checked the folder where the code needs to go and seen if there is code in that folder? Then it tells me the post is working and the editor is having issues with finding the post. I have seen this on computers that were once running crack version of Mastercam and then go legit.
